Kenya Social Group (KSG) was founded by Wanjiku after her move to Los Angeles in May 2024. Arriving on a K1 visa with no local support, she quickly experienced the realities of culture shock—from the high cost of simple services to the challenge of finding familiar food and community.
Instead of letting isolation take over, she chose to build connection. KSG was created as a safe, uplifting space for Kenyans adjusting to life in Southern California. We offer guidance, cultural connection, and a strong support network to help each other navigate transitions with strength and pride.
At KSG, we believe in community, identity, and rising together—no Kenyan should have to do it alone.
